It’s been a long time since I wrote anything here. Life got busy in the way it does when you have two kids, two cats, and a calendar that looks like a game of Tetris. But I’ve missed having a place of my own on the internet, so I’m back.
This site is going to be a mix of things: hikes and trips, Scouting, the occasional tech rabbit hole, and whatever I’m playing on guitar this month. There’s more about me here if you’re new.
What changed
A lot, and not much. The kids are older, I’m more tired, and I’ve finally accepted that I’ll never be a great guitarist. I’m fine with that. I just like making noise.
I don’t need to be good at things to enjoy them. That was the best lesson of the break.
